Contax 500mm- F4.5 for 35mm camera systems
The fastest lens in its class and focal length, breaking the rules for typical mirror lens. It nearly eliminates chromatic aberrations prevalent in conventional high-speed lenses of this class.
The basic form of this lens corresponds to the design of astronomers' telescopes. Complemented by two chromatically corrected lenses both in front of and after the mirrors. Imaging errors are reduced to a minimum, as well as chromatic aberrations. The Mirotar lens permits fast shutter speeds, so that photographs can be made under unfavorable lighting conditions.

*Please note that Contax is Kaput! Kyrocera pulled the plug on the Contax camera system in 2005. So buyer beware. You'll only have used parts to service the camera with, and good luck finding a certified Contax camera technician
