CFE/CFI Lenses

The F-Distagon® T* 3.5/30 CFi lens is a fast, ultra-wide angle lens of the fish-eye type with a image angle of 180° across the diagonal of the field. Its optical performance and focal length allow full exploitation of the format right into the corners. The lens gives exceptionally high imaging quality and uniform illumination across the field, even with the aperture fully open. Close-up settings are possible up to 10 cm in the front of the front lens, making exciting photographs possible.

The Distagon® T* 4/40 CFE lens is an extremely wide angle lens with an image angle of 88° across the field diagonal. Due to its remarkably good optical correction, and especially the remarkable distortion correction, the Distagon® T* 4/40 CFE lens is even suitable for high-quality architectural, object and industrial photography. This lens is also particularly successful in the professional studio with digital camera backs and in aerial photography.

In the medium format the Distagon® T* 4/50 CFi lens is the most universal wide angle lens for many photographers. Its modern optical design guarantees very high imaging performance, reaching, thanks to the floating elements, right into the close-up range. Its low aberration count and its resistence to straylight effects are further bonus points. At the aperture settings usually used in advertising and landscape photography the illumination of the field is remarkably even.

The Planar® lens by Carl Zeiss is the most successful lens concept ever. Nearly all modern professional working lenses around the globe and in space are based on this concept. The Carl Zeiss Planar® T* 2.8/80 CFE lens is a fast standard lens for universal use in all Hasselblad-cameras of the 200 and 500 series. It produces images with a perspective which is very similar to the perspective of the human eye. With its extraordinarily good field planeing properties, it is suitable for practically all areas of photography.

The Makro-Planar® T* 5.6/135 CF lens was specially developed for Hasselblad-cameras. As this lens was designed for use with a bellows-attachmet, it has no focusing helicoid for setting the distance.
Like its sister with the focal length f=120mm, the Makro-Planar® T* 5.6/135 CF lens is a lens with optimal correction for the close-up range and is therefore extremely suitable for all close-up jobs which require high imaging performance with no aberrations.

The optical performance of the Sonnar® T* 5.6/250 CFi lens, while maximized for infinity, has also been brought up to a high standard for the close-up range. It is very even across the entire image field and is available even when the aperture is fully open. This telephoto lens with its extraordinarily high imaging quality is suitable for all Hasselblad cameras of the 200 and 500 series. Together with the Sonnar Superachromat 5.6/250 CFi lens this is the highest performance Zeiss telephoto lens, but it has several special features in addition. Thus the internal focusing system, which can be adjusted with extremely high precision, makes full use of the sharp focus of this lens, making it particularly suitable for professional fashion, advertising, automobile, industrial, wildlife and high-quality sports photography.

The Tele-Apotessar® T* 8/500 CF lens is the lens with the longest focal length in the Hasselblad system. The optical characteristics are excellent and, thanks to the internal focusing system, the lens can focus down to 5 m without shifting the centre of gravity.
