FE Lenses

The Distagon® T* 2.8/50 FE lens with an image angle of 75° is a universal wide angle lens of the highest quality intended for use with Hasselblad-cameras of the 200 series. As these cameras do not require a central shutter it was possible to increase the aperture ratio to 1: 2.8 - unusually high for medium format wide angle lenses.
Remarkable imaging performance and excellent aberration correction make this compact lens an ideal tool for photographs taken under very difficult conditions and extreme time pressure.

Preferred use: industrial location work, editorial, advertising, aerospace, fast action

The Planar® T* 2/110 FE lens is one of the fastest lenses in the professional medium format with astonishingly fast, precise focusing.
The results can be used to produce poster-sized pictures of perfect quality. Its strong points also come to the fore in portrait photography under great time pressure and in poor light.

Preferred use: Executive portraits under time pressure and available light conditions, editorial, people, travel, candid portraits on location, weddings, theatrical and stage photography

The Sonnar® T* 2.8/150 FE lens is a fast, compact high-performance lens with medium focal length for Hasselblad-cameras of the 200 series. It is designed for excellent imaging quality at high shutter speeds. This top quality lens can be used in an unusual variety of applications. It is equally suitable for reporting and portrait photographs and, thanks to relatively high shutter speeds, for free-hand snapshots in unfavourable lighting conditions.

Preferred use: candid portraits on location, travel, landscape, sports, theatrical and stage photography

The Tele-Tessar® T* 4/250 FE lens is designed for Hasselblad-cameras of the 200 series. It is a true telephoto design, but is very light and compact. The application areas of the Tele-Tessar® T*4/250 FE lens cover a wide range. The lens is suitable for both telephotography and portraits in which undesired backgrounds need to be blurred, but also for reporting and stage photography.

Preferred use: editorial, fashion, weddings, theatrical and stage photography, portraits, scenic landscapes

The Carl Zeiss Tele-Tessar® T*4/350 FE lens is intended for Hasselblad-cameras of the 200 series. It rounds off the series of focal lengths available for these cameras in the telephoto range and is characterised by a high initial aperture. Its internal focusing permits fast and extremely precise adjustment. The smallest close-up setting of this lens is 1.9 m which opens up fascinating possibilities like tightly framing a face.
