Acid-Free Paper and Canvas
Refers to archival grade canvas, or paper products used to support fine art prints, drawings and paintings. They neutralize the acid in the manufacturing process to lower the PH to a conservable level. These prducts are essential to high grade fine art production, ensuring there is no chemical breakdown of the support materials. A word of advice to collectors, insist on acid-free materials when purchasing art.
